Language Testing Research Group
The Language Testing Research Group (LTRG) is an on-campus discussion group. The members of the group are professors, students, and any person who are interested in language testing. The main goals of the group is to further the study and research, to share ideas, to discuss issues, to participate in debates and discussions, to inform, to get feedback, and to acquire more knowledge on various matters that are related to language testing in a friendly, encouraging atmosphere. Second Language Acquisition and Bilingualism Lab (SLAB) Meetings
The weekly SLAB meetings are a forum for students to present and discuss interesting research-- either their own, or articles that relate to their interests. To join the mailing list email Tania Ionin at tionin@illinois.edu.
The Spring 2012 schedule appears below. Please note that meetings are weekly, on Mondays, 11 am meetings and 1 pm meetings. There's still room for one more Gurt practice presentation, either on Feb. 27 or March 5 (Since Silvina Montrul is flexible and can do either date) And there are two either open slots (March12 & April 23) left as well.
